Sydney T1 International Airport Terminal Carbon Fibre Strengthening

This project involved the design and installation of carbon fibre shear strengthening of reinforced concrete beams in the Sydney T1 International Airport Terminal, hall expansion area 03.

The works involved nightly shut-down conditions, working within flight curfews in an operational airport terminal. The design and installation of the carbon fibre wrap involved the installation of access system, inspection and locations marked out, preparation of the soffit and installation of 1943lm carbon fibre wrap.
