DNA Tower - Perth

Freyssinet Australia is proud to have completed the makeover to the DNA Tower, a 55-year-old iconic Perth landmark located in Kings Park, on behalf of the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority.

Our scope of works included a full sandblast of the layers of paint from the 15-metre tower, followed by a three-coat industrial coating system, which will ensure that this striking landmark will be around for decades to come.

The remediation process has been challenging due to the complexity and detail of the structure itself and we thank our team, BGPA, Plan E and GHD for their hard-work and determination to deliver such a high-quality outcome. We have such a great deal of respect for the original engineers, they did such an amazing job.
